A Card For Fun????

well not strictly speaking..but it's an order for work and not a DT card for a change :-)...its actually for her sisters birthday and she lives in New Zealand..hence the lamb ..lol...but it is a quick post as its nearly bedtime...just a bit of commenting to catch up on first...

so..the image is magnolia...the papers are papermania capsule collection (the purple one ;-))..ive also added a little embossing with my cuttlebug folder and some extra dimension with my glossy accent..and of course ive coloured with promarkers...flowers are from wild orchid craft (link in sidebar)..and there's a few stardust stickles thrown in for good measure...im also entering my card in the following challenges

Tilda says it with flowers ....

Hiya!! :-)...missed me ?!..probably not..lol..i have been MEGA busy all week..mostly with card orders - im booked up know for the month...but i did manage to steal a little time to colour this little lady in :-)..i promise the card looks better IRL...with all the stickles on the distressed edges...wasnt sure i'd have time to post her..but Dan has taken Casey to A&E as it looks like he may have broken his finger at school - not that we knew about it til he got home - if it is broken there will be big trouble i can tell you!!!! - so here i am..no point dragging both kids there..but i digress :-)..it's my entry for two challenges... Passion For Promarkers where this week the theme is "gratitude" and also Crafty Card Makers - Distressing..ive coloured with promarkers and the papers are K&Co...flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment was a free digi :-)..thanks for stopping by..Debs

Totally gorjuss - Challenge 28 - Stitching -

Good morning!!...can you believe it's time for another challenge over at Totally Gorjuss ..we really enjoyed checking out all your Gorjuss Girls last week...your such a talented bunch!!..this week we would like to see stitching on your project - real or faux...i do hope you will join us :-)

This is something a little different for me - but its always good to try new things - im loving all the new princess and pirate magnolia stamps - i want them all...sigh...ive used a shaped card (can you tell)..from Anita's..which i ran through my cuttlebug embossing folder.....perfect for a little princess :-)..ive coloured with promarkers (sorry..must remember to start writing the colours down) and gone over her wings and flowers with stardust stickles..and added a little glossy accent to the frog...ive punched and layered some flowers and added some jewels for extra sparkle :-)...simples

Crafty Cardmakers GDT Card

Firstly i really hope i've done this schedualed post right!!...we're defraging the computer and i cant access it for a while....:-)

so....when Vix emailed to ask if i'd like to be a guest designer this week over at Crafty Cardmakers i jumped at the chance..and my mission??....a desert island theme...and im not talking palm trees ...lol...basically to create a card with all your must haves so if you were to be stranded on a desert island you would be able to take all the things on your card!!...what can i say..trying to narrow everything down was a nightmare...but the theme is quite broad so it could be a particular style of stamp or a punch, cuttlebug folder..you get the gist ...and here is what i came up with....i'll also list at the bottom some other challenges that im entering her in :-)

so if i was to be stranded on a desert island....i would most definately NEED...

K&Co papers ...lush!! - ive distressed them a little with scissors and a nail file..do i get to take them too ;-)...

ive used a magnolia image but i really had difficulty chosing... but she's so nice to colour...

flat back pearls...

large and small roses

hat pins

charm

ribbon to make a bow with my bow maker

some really nice sheer lace

MS leaf punch..and i used my MME bloom and grow papers for these..so im taking those too :-P

everything is covered in glimmer mist - Tattered Angels -bubbles

added sparkle to flowers with my opal dust

also my new friend Mr Stickles in cotton candy and stardust around some of the distressed edges

glossy accent

and of course my faithful promarkers in the following colours

ivory, blush, dusky pink, tan, sandstone, cinnamon, cocoa, henna, babypink, cocktail pink, antique pink, pastel pink, pear green, moss and vanilla

Totally Gorjuss - Sketch- Challenge 24 GDT card

Firstly apologies for the late post this morning ....i missed a parcel delivery so i had to go to the sorting office ..it was full of lovely stuff from Tracy at Dies to Die For....i then HAD (lol) to call at the local craft shop where more goodies "fell" in my basket...only trouble is all my craft stuff is packed neatly away til monday...so i cant play with them!!.....anyway......this is my final easter card...but isnt she adorable (even if the piccy is a little bit wonky)?!..this week over at Totally Gorjuss  we have a fab sketch for you to follow
