Paper Piecing at The Sugar Bowl...

Evening..brrrr it's rather chilly here and snowing!!..what better to do then craft!!???...so another quick make from me this evening...and then I'm off to do more colouring in :0).....

i promised my self that this year i would show some love to my many neglected stamps and also ink up new ones...this is the fabby "Shaken Not Kissed" it must be a couple of years since i showed her any love and she is still available from Funky Kits..yay :0)

I've followed Gayles fabby sketch over at "The Sugar Bowl" ..the optional theme this wek was paper piecing..something else i haven't done for a while!!...I've coloured the remainder of the image with ProMarkers..the papers are Basic Grey..the flower is an EK retro punch and i've added twine and a flower button from my stash :0)

Evening..figured I'd squeeze another entry into The Sugar Bowl Challenge - well it would be rude not to!!....I'm also entering the Sugar Nellies Facebook Challenge which this week is Pink & Grey :0)...

I've used this gorgeous stamp from the latest Puppy Love release...she's called "Trip To The Park" and is available from Funky Kits

The papers are Echo Park 12 x 12's that I've had ages..I've lightly distressed the edges and added stardust stickles..ribbon and pearls are from my stash..I've coloured with Copic Ciao and ProMarkers :0)

Dream Valley - Animal

Hope your all having a fabulous weekend... today I'm sharing my DT card for Dream Valley Challenges where this weeks theme is "Animals"....This Challenge we have a special prize for you!

Its a wee Surprise parcel from our very own super lovely Melly to one lucky winner! It will have a nice selection of flowers, ribbons and two stamps tooooooo!

I've used this gorgeous Fizzy Moon stamp :0)

the pretty papers are First Edition..the ticket stamp is LOTV and I've coloured with ProMarkers..I've also added a little stardust stickles to the paper edges...

less is more??...

more is better??......well I'll let you decide.. I very rarely do CAS cards because they never look "right" if you know what I mean but that's the challenge over at Saturated Canary...so I have two cards to share today both using gorgeous SC images :0)...first up is "Copica"

in my infinite wisdom I decided to doodle around the edges..OMG I have never been so scared..in the end I held my breath and just did it..not entirely happy but it's a first attempt...

I've coloured her with Flex and ProMarkers... I often get asked about my blonde hair colours..so here's a list

Pastel Yellow

next up is "Wildflower Fairy"...and this was a card order for a friend at work..again a first as it was an 8 x8 card

I've coloured with Flex and ProMarkers...the papers are 12 x 12's that I've had in my stash for ages.. I think they were Daisy Bucket?.....the l/o and embellies are still pretty minimal as I wanted the image to be the main focus of the card :0)

Elven Ardella

Evening bloggers...just a quick post from me as it's time for a coffee and a chill!!....just wanted to share my latest creation...I've kept this card pretty simple as the border was quite busy and the image is quite big :0)

I've used my beautiful new MIC digi image "Elven Ardella" ..i saw her had to have her then sat looking at her thinking ok.."where do i start??"....lol....

I've coloured with Pro and Flex markers but  must apologise because i am so unbelievably rubbish at writing the colours down...now i know the dress was Plum, Purple and Orchid with a couple of Aubergine highlights but as for the hair there was defo burnt orange and spice and two other colours but the more i look at my chart the more i know i just havn't got a clue which they were....the wings were Flex markers in Soft Mauve and Pink Lavender with a little sparkle from a jelly roll pen :0)...the border I think is a Personal Impressions stamp which i inked up with my Plum PM...the background card is embossed and the purple strip is from my new First Edition pack ...

Dream Valley - Anything Goes

Hope everyone is having a fabby weekend so far :0)...apologies as this post is a little picture heavy..this week at Dream Valley Challenges "Anything Goes"..so i'm sharing a notebook i altered..now i have to say it was a bit of a labour of love as i altered the pockets on the inside too and the note book was fairly big..inbetween A4 and A5...

first of all i coloured up the images matching them with my papers :0)

2011 review....

Late!!!

Evening guys..hope you've all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year and that you all got lot's of lovely crafty goodies....

I've been MIA for a while whilst i caught up on card orders and had a little break..so I've only just un-packed all my crafty things to make a start on this years cards..this also means i'm a couple of day's late with my DT card for "Bling It On"..so huge apologies but better late than never!!...this months theme is "New Beginnings"  so this could be a new home, new baby etc..
