Passion for Promarkers - Challenge 71 - Vintage/Shabby Chic

Crikey it soon comes round to Tuesday doesnt it!!??...which means only one thing... its time for another challenge at Passion for ProMarkers ...this week the lovely Sue has chosen the theme of Vintage/Shabby Chic...one of my favourite things :0)...this weeks winner will win a £10 voucher for Joanna Sheen ...

now onto my card :0)
the papers are a mixture of SU and Pink Paisley...ive faux stitched the blue background by pricking the paper then going over with a white gel pen but the rest is my own hand stitching ...ive also distressed all the edges to give it a shabby feel...the flowers are from Wild Orchid which ive glittered.. finally i added a bit of lace and a few pearls..the image and sentiment are both LOTV...hope you likey

i promise the lace is white IRL...lol..its just i took the piccie late at night :0)

Wags n Whiskers - challenge 33 - Diamonds And Pearls

Are we all ready for the weekend then???.....i cant wait... the kids are off to the outlaws tomorrow so were going to friends for food and copious amounts of alcohol....happy days....and it's only 4 weeks now to my jolly yayyyyy....:0)
So today sees another challenge over at Wags n Whiskers and the lovely Emma has set us the theme of "Diamonds & Pearls"...ive used this gorgeous digi "" and she's also available in good old rubber...:0)
the papers are MME (i think)...ive stamped the edges with distress ink and coloured the image with my ProMarkers of course there is a generous helping of stardust stickles too :0)

Passion for Promarkers - Challenge 70 - Make Your Own Flowers

Crikey this month is just flying by!!...apologies if ive not been around much lately..were still working hjard at getting Messy's Mini Missions up and running...dont forget we have some fabby candy up for grabs and if your children dont have a blog you can post the details on yours and still add their name to the linky :0)..but now onto this weeks challenge over at Passion For ProMarkers  
 im sure your all aware that our Uber talented teamie Michelle make the most amazing flowers all by herself!!...so this week she has decided to put us all to the test with the theme "make your own flowers"...ive used my two EK punches and layered and scrunched them adding a little glimmer mist :0)and a pearl in the centre...i really enjoyed this and think i may do it again!!



 the lucky winner of this weeks challenge will win a 5 pack of AquaMarkers from our very own Crafty Emma's new store...



i can guarantee they are very addictive and ive used mine again this week...



the papers are basic grey "Urban Prairie" which i also got from Emmas store and she has a fabulous sale on at the moment!! and ive added old paper distress inks to all the edges then distressed them all and everything has had a generous helping of glimmer mist ive also added a little glossy accent to the bow and some of the flowers :0)

Wags n Whiskers - challenge 32 - happy birthday

hello chaps!!...im back for another fabulous challenge over at Wags n Whiskers .....this week the lovely Sharon would like to see all your fabby birthday cards :0)..ive opted for a boys card this week as i really wanted to use these new Bo Bunny papers...the image i have used is called "Shoot the Puck" and is available in both digi and rubber

Passion for Promarkers - Challenge 69 - Photo Inspiration

morning all :0)...i'm still very busy with the new project...fingers crossed all will be revealed later on this week :0) ...today im sharing my card for our new challenge at Passion For ProMarkers where this week the fabulous Julie has given us this photo as inspiration

mine is called "shaken not kissed" by Diane Duda and ive followed this weeks sketch over at The Sugar Bowl with the added extra of buttons


the papers are Kanban and PM which i have inked and distressed, ive also added stardust stickles (shock horror..lol)..ive added some swirls with a Marriane Die then punched and layered some flowers again inking the edges and adding a few stickles...

New Kids On The Blog.......

Reminder....
So as you all know ive been rather busy of late preparing something new :0)....ive also drafted in my bezzy mate Kaylou ....all our kids are very crafty and childrens challenge blogs are few and far between...they do enter the grown up challenges but dont always get the recognition they deserve....so we decided to do something about it!!....and can finally reveal our brand new challenge blog for kids....

Wags n Whiskers - Fall Colours

OK where did this week go??!!...honestly ive been so busy this week trying to organise a little something new ( i say I.. but... i have roped the very talented Kaylou into it too)....but you'll have to wait for that ..just a little longer anyway....but for now you will have to be content with my DT card for the new challenge over at Wags n Whiskers where this week the totally fabulous Lacey has chosen the theme of "Fall/Earthy colours"...ive used  "Love You Sis" which is available as either a digi stamp or good old rubber if you prefer :0)


this image is so sweet and i loved colouring it in and i decided to make an easle card...
ive used PM papers, promarkers to colour and added a little glossy accent to their wellies :0)..flowers and ribbon are from my stash ...

this week ive used another of my LOTV stamps..it was one of the first i bought but im ashamed to say its the first time ive inked it up!!....papers are Basic Grey - Sugar Rush ribbon and pearls from stash and ive used my EK retro punches for the flowers of course the stardust sticles and glossy accent also made an appearance... :0)

Living in a Material World.....

"Living in a material world and i am a material girl"...sorry think i was a little off key there..lol...i reckon that song will be going around in my head all day :0)....anyhow today i have a card that is just for fun...i dug out Miss Anya coz i havent inked her up in ages and had a mooch around blogland..and heres what i came up with...


ive paper pieced her top and fabric pieced(??!!) her some cute little denim shorts and matching bow for her head band.....by cutting up some old denim jeans....she's coloured with promarkers and ive added some glossy accent too...


ive also hand drawn some stitching on the paper and stamped some messy stitches onto some denim too...i just wish i had a sewing machine coz i would have loved to fray the edges a bit etc...ive kept it pretty simple just adding a few gems :0)

By The Cute And Girly - September Challenge - Indian Summer

WOW can you believe another month has gone by and were getting ever closer to christmas...but at By The Cute And Girly this month the lovely Carol has chosen the theme "Indian Summer"...so we can hang on to the warmth and bright colours just a little longer - even if it is just in blogland !!!....:0) as usual the rest of the Dt Girls have some fabulous inspiration for you so pop on over and take a look.....

For my Project a drew a little inspiration from blogland...from the lovely Lorraine who had created a wonderful gift set so i just had to have a go....i followed the tutorial by Jackie Topa  ...and it was much easier than i thought and i will defo be making some more!!

firstly i made some simple cards....


and matching gift tags


also a couple of bag-a-lope gift bags


and finally i covered a notebook to match




i then set about making the storage box



and the finished project..


i have altered it slightly from the original design and ive also kept the outside very simple..i think next time ill decorate that too :0)
