Saturated Canary Photo Inspiration and Christmas Card Craft Off

 

so onto my card..I've coloured up the gorgeous Nikki :-)..i hope you all snagged her while she was free!!??

I love these smaller cards as they are great for using up all the scraps (and i have oodles!!)..I've coloured Nikki with a mix of Copic Ciao, Flex and Promarkers..the holly is a Cheerylynne die..larger snowflakes are Marianne dies..smaller one is a hobbycraft punch and the snowflake border is a Memory Box Die all finished off with a few gems and some stickles :-)

Saturated Canary #Challenge32 - Hot Chocolate And Marshmallows

Hello peeps..time again for another fabby challenge over at Saturated Canary where this week we have a yummy theme of "Hot Chocolate And Marshmallows"..mmmmm... remember you must use either a SC Digi image, SC or Simply Sassy rubber stamps.. I've used the gorgeous Wendy ...stamped with Cocoa Memento ink

sorry for the wonky pic!!...Wendy is coloured with a mix of Copic Ciao, Flex and Promarkers :0)..papers are First Edition..other than that there are a few liquid pearls but i kept it all pretty simple..

Saturated Canary - Lou's Sketch

Hello peeps..first of all i hope you enjoyed the blog hop Tuesday with all that delicious new rubber that Krista is releasing..i'm sure you will agree there's something for everyone ..don't forget you can pre-order yours from Quixotic Paperie..:-)....

Saturated canary - Fairytales

Afternoon peeps..it seems like ages since i did a proper post!!..today I'm sharing MY DT card for Saturated Canary Challenges..this week the theme is "Fairytales" and Krista is releasing some  gorgeous new princesses  which will be available from her shop later today..

so here's introducing "Peanelope"

isn't she just adorable :0)..

"Only a real Princess could be so sensitive" is a quote from The Princess and the Pea by Hans Christian Anderson I still have a book with a collection of his Fairytales from when i was just 4!!..i so love to read :0).. I've coloured with a mix of Copic Ciao, Pro and Flex markers..the papers are Dovecrafts "Princess Fairytale" and you can just make out a bed full of mattresses in the bottom corner..just perfect for this card..all finished off with a few punches and diecuts...

an ebay warning

I don't often do this but I feel I have no option now but to speak up about a lady I have been dealing with on ebay...hopefully it may help any of you out there that have not already had dealings with her..some of you may have already seen this on my face book but I hope to reach more of you through my blog as this person bids internationally also..

the lady in question is called Vicky Hall..she uses the following ebay account (Steve Hall) the ID  is steveh2743 

initially i had issues with her payment..she said she had paypal issues and was trying to sort them out..around 3 weeks later she paid for her items..all her correspondence  has been really friendly like she already knew me.. I posted nearly £45 of stamps out..normally I would send recorded and just didnt (still giving myself a good talking to about that) anyway 3-4 weeks later she asks when had I posted the items as she was off to the sorting office the next day as they hadn't yet arrived.. I gave her the dates etc and the following day she messaged me asking me to open a missing post claim with Royal Mail as she had checked with her neighbours and they defo hadnt been delivered..because I was going on holiday I explained it may be quicker for her to do as either party can claim but she said she had issues with the woman at her post office so if I did it she would wait for my return to sort it all out.. I arrived back this week from holiday and whilst away she opened a claim with paypal and received a refund as i wasn't here to respond.. now ordinarily I would just think well these things happen however she has done this several times to fellow crafters including Carlyanne who runs charisma challenges and her friend Debs Mitchell....using exactly the same lines each time..issues with paypal etc.. I have reported her to both ebay and paypal for fraud however if any of you have had similar issues please consider reporting her to ebay..the more of us that do the better chance we have of stopping her...for anyone else i suggest you consider blocking her..  as a buyer and save yourselves some money... if anyone else has been affected please spread the word..we all work hard and she is baltently stealing from us

i just love this cute little fairy "Delia"she's available from Funky Kits ..I've coloured her with a mix of Pro and Flex markers and Copic Ciao..the papers are First Edition ..she also fits the SN Facebook challenge of "3 of something"..I've used 3 patterned paper, 3 pearls and 3 flowers :-)

Afternoon crafty peeps :-)..We have a new challenge up and running over at Saturated Canary with the theme of "Office Supplies" :-)....I've coloured up the fabby "What The Librarian Reads"....

Redonkulous Inspiration

Hi Peeps..A bit of sad news today..my 6 month term with Redonkulous has flown by and this is my last inspiration post for them..I've had a fab time and Sheryl's images have been a joy to work with :-)..

For my final card I've used the fabby "Karate Kick Girl"

Saturated Canary - All The B's....

Hello peeps..It's time for another challenge over at Saturated Canary ..this weeks theme is "All The B's" so we want to see at least two things starting with the letter B on your card..

I've coloured up the super gorgeous "Catching Butterflies"

I've opted for..Brown, Blue, Butterflies and Bow..see Easy Peasy :-)

..the papers are SU and she's coloured with Copic Ciao, Flex and Promarkers..the butterflies are a MS punch..the flowers are layered up from a Nellie Snellen Punch and Emboss set..the sentiment is LOTV...

Well we can't all come and go by bubble...

Morning all..I've coloured quite a lot of images of late and many haven't made it onto projects yet...the gorgeous "Elphie" is just one of them..i just LOVE Wicked and The Wizard Of Oz :-)

so...quite a few peeps on FB asked for the colours so figured it would be easier to post them here :-)...

her face and part of her dress are Promarkers warm greys 1 to 3 (touch of G21 to cheeks)

the brush handle is warm greys 3-5

Hair is (in this order) copics YG11, C1, C3, touch of G14, C5, touch of G17, C7 and black i finished off with a sakura glitter gel pen adding just a few streaks 

Shoes C5, C7 and black

Tights C1 and blender

Dress G21, YG63, BG93, YG67 touch of G99 to creases

top of shoes YG63, G21 and blender

Broom head..C3, C5, C7, YG11 and G17

Hello peeps..just sharing a card order using a "real" stamp rather than a digi..it's ages since i got a little inky :0)....and Mr Blogger is also playing nice so no copy and pasting my pics today!!

she's a gorgeous LOTV stamp..i think it's only the second time she's seen ink!!..the papers are a recent purcahse from Quixotic Paperie - they are Fancy Pants Country Boutique and i just LOVE them :-)..I've added just a few flowers and flat backed pearls and some lace for a vintage feel..she's coloured with Flex and Promarkers ..

Saturated Canary Dt Card

Hi peeps....is anyone else having problems loading their photo's...I've been trying for 3 days solid and it's just not working :-(...but never fear I have had a brain wave!!...so thankfully I can finally share my Saturated Canary DT card (where there's a will and all that!!)..the theme this week is " Dotty "..so I have copied and pasted my pic from facebook *sticks tongue out at Mr Blogger*....

I've coloured up the gorgeous Harley and Haley with a mix of Copic Ciao, Pro and Flex markers..the papers are some 12" x12" MME papers that I've cut down  then doodled around the edges.. finally I addedt a couple of flowers , charm and a punched butterfly :0)

This beautiful spring theme is singing for color! In the package, you will receive 14 sentiments/poems (already placed on the floral image) in case you are experiencing writers block. I've printed this up fairly large to fit on a 8" x8" card and coloured with Copic Ciao..I've also added a few stickles for some extra sparkle :0)

Saturated Canary - Photo Inspiration

Good Afternoon..hope it's warm enough for you all....phew we are having a scorcher..it's soooo warm!!..

Today is the start of a brand new challenge at Saturated Canary and we have a fabby photo to inspire you :0)....

so here's my interpretation ..

So I opted for a larger 8" x 8" card...I've coloured the gorgeous "Orchard Love" with a mix of copic ciao's and PM's....the papers are all basic grey and I've added a few swirls from my Marianne die and added MS punched leaves and Nellie Snellen punched flowers...the sentiment is from LOTV...make sure you head on over to the challenge blog to check out more inspiration from my talented teamies :0)
