Saturated Canary - Colouring Technique challenge

Hi crafty peeps...we have a brand new challenge over at Saturated Canary... "Colouring Technique" ... so we want to see either.. a cloudy sky..dotty background or "no lines" technique....

as you can see I've opted for "no lines"...so I've stamped out the gorgeous SC Little Ladybug from LDRS in Ranger Adirondack Sandal then coloured with Copic Ciao..I've also added a few dots to the blue background...no lines can be daunting but if you've not tried before why not give it a go...and remember I also have a simple step by step tut for a basic cloudy sky here...

Graph'It Markers Colour Challenge - Colouring White

Soooo..are we all joining in with the new Graph'It Colour Challenge??..remember you can use ANY alcohol markers to play along !!

this week we are challenging you to "Colour White" and the DT have some fab tips for you

I use a few different techniques when colouring white areas depending on what it is ..for snow I tend to use a blue grey then use the blender to soften the edges as I have with the snowman..but for the fur hat I felt it needed a warmer more creamy white so used 3310, then 4170 and 4155 then using the blender in a dotting motion lifted areas of colour to add texture and finished with a few flicks of white gel pen ...the image is from the gorgeous Polkadoodles "Here Comes Christmas" CD and the papers are from the yummy "Angelberry Christmas"...

Graph'It Markers used
Skin - 4180, 4170, 4155
Browns - 3190, 3150, 3125, 3280, 3245
Reds, 5245, 5240 (deepen with brown 3190)
Greens - 8160, 8150, 8240
Blues - 7180,9140,9103
Fur - 3110, 1210, 4110 and blender
