im afraid im gonna be real quick as were off to the beat herder festival today..Dan & Scott are playing today and tomorrow so were camping :-)..if you want to see what all the fuss is about you can check them out Here ...so its time again for another challeng at Totally Gorjuss and we have a fabby sketch for you to follow :-)

i must admit ive had a very hectic week so im not 100% happy with this one..i love the papers and the image but theres something not quite right...but luckily for you guys the rest of the team have some fabby creations to inspire you

By The Cute And Girly - July Challenge

Well it's the first of the month which means its time for another challenge at By The Cute And Girly where this month Hanna has chosen the theme of "Warm Summer Days" 

this month we were lucky enough to be given some digi's to play with from Crafts 4 Eternity and i chose to use "butterfly kisses"...ive made a simple card and matching pillow style giftbox..coloured with promarkers and using my DCWV stack "blossoms and butterflies"

its also been a while since i did any scrap booking...and i really wanted to share this piccy of Milly..it was taken a couple of years ago now at Clumber Park where we tend to spend a lot of time in the summer..just walking, kicking a ball around and generally relaxing...oh and eating!!...Milly NEVER stops!! (eating or moving) and her favourite thing is watermelon...so i snatched a piccy whilst she wasnt looking..its one of my faves but i never did anything with it so i decided just to do a simple scrap book page...hope you likey..papers are from the same stack :-)

I would also like to enter my l/o into the Sir Stampalot Challenge where the theme is Lazy Hazy Days of Summer

Passion for Promarkers - Challenge 58 - think of a number!!

Hokey Cokey..it's that time again...and this week at Passion For ProMarkers Denise has chosen the theme of "think of a number"..as always the rest of the design team has come up with some AMAZING inspiration for you..so pop on over and show some love :-)

so onto my card.....

it was an order for a lady (Sue) at work...a family friend is turning 50 and he hates Ginger hair!!...and because Sue is ginger it was her one requirement..lol

i must admit i'm rather pleased with the result...the image is by Victoria Case ..and the age sentiment is a freebie which you can find here at Bird's Cards the other i did myself :-)

ive been really good this week and remembered to write down all the colours ive used (gold star please)

Skin Tones - Ivory, Blush, Dusky Pink & Pastel Pink

Hair - Honeycomb, Burnt Orange & Cocoa

Top/Eyeshadow/Bobble - Duck Egg & Turquoise

Skirt/Bodice - Cool Grey 1-5

Beer Glasses - Mustard, Honeycomb (lager) & Pastel Blue for the outline of the froth and glass

Lipstick - Carmine & Hot Pink

ive also added glossy accent to her lips and the glasses and stardust stickles to her eyeshadow and the froth

Totally in the Bag....

ok so i did schedule this last night....checked to make sure thats what it said...and low and behold..i come down this morning..and ..nothing!!...now says draft..grr...havnt been back to it to edit or anything...so must have a gremlin!!....so.....it's time for another fabulous challenge over at Totally Gorjuss ...where this week our theme is "in the Bag" ...now its not as scary as it seems..honest!!....i did ignore this for a full week and only made mine last night so it MUST be simple..lol...i found some fantastic tutorials over on Mels Blog ...and a direct link can be found here ......ive printed her template straight onto the back of some Kanban Card.... i used a small oval nestie for the holes for the handles..and simply added this gorgeous Leanne Ellis "Blossom" sugar nellie stamp from Funky Kits ... again mounting using my nesties...and thats it..coloured with promarkers and a little stardust stickles :-)

A Card For Fun????

well not strictly speaking..but it's an order for work and not a DT card for a change :-)...its actually for her sisters birthday and she lives in New Zealand..hence the lamb ..lol...but it is a quick post as its nearly bedtime...just a bit of commenting to catch up on first...

so..the image is magnolia...the papers are papermania capsule collection (the purple one ;-))..ive also added a little embossing with my cuttlebug folder and some extra dimension with my glossy accent..and of course ive coloured with promarkers...flowers are from wild orchid craft (link in sidebar)..and there's a few stardust stickles thrown in for good measure...im also entering my card in the following challenges
